Job Description:
- We are seeking a passionate and skilled Android Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in building high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin and Java, a deep understanding of Android fundamentals, and be proficient in modern Android architecture patterns and Jetpack components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Design UI layouts using XML and follow Material Design guidelines.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Work with the MVVM architecture and integrate Jetpack components like ViewModel, LiveData, Room, and Navigation.
- Consume RESTful APIs using Retrofit or Volley and handle data parsing.
- Implement local data storage using Room Database and Shared Preferences.
- Manage code versioning with Git and collaborate using version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Debug and fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
- Assist in the deployment process and understand the basics of publishing apps to the Google Play Store.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong command over Kotlin and Java.
- Solid experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.
- Proficient in XML-based UI design and layout best practices.
- Good understanding of Activity and Fragment lifecycle.
- Practical experience working with MVVM architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit or Volley.
- Knowledge of local data storage techniques (Room DB, SharedPreferences).
- Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows.
- Basic understanding of the Google Play Store publishing process.
- Leverage use of AI tool to boost productivity & enhancement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Cross-platform(Flutter/React-Native) technology knowledge is a plus point.
